AcuMANAGER and AcuSTREAM work as a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to scale up your existing network infrastructure for efficient delivery of media-rich contents.

Optimal Performance Redirection (OPR), an AcuLe@rn developed technology, streams media-rich contents from the best AcuSTREAM to the viewer, increasing network capacity without sacrificing video and audio quality.

As a device which is placed strategically at the edge of AcuLearn’s CDN, AcuSTREAM™ works seamlessly with AcuMANAGER™. It pulls content from the AcuManager. Users can then access content from the AcuStream (that is placed at their network edge), which ensures speedy delivery. This provides a scalable architecture for online media delivery, conference and live web-cast.

Integration with AcuStudio™

AcuMANAGER functions as a central repository of all contents published by AcuSTUDIO. It synchronizes the content, including replication and deletions, across a network of AcuSTREAM distributed servers.

Integration with AcuConference™

In order to support a large number of audiences in a live presentation, AcuMANAGER and AcuSTREAM will deliver the live presentation from the best AcuSTREAM server near to the viewers. By distributing streaming contents from the best AcuSTREAM server at the network edge using multicast or unicast, the available network capacity is increased.

Optimal Performance Redirection (OPR)

OPR is AcuLe@rn’s technology for selecting the best AcuSTREAM server for the viewer. The selection is dynamic, and based on parameters such as the viewer’s location, AcuSTREAM server load and available network bandwidth. Once the best AcuSTREAM server is determined, streaming of rich-media contents from AcuSTUDIO or AcuLIVE can proceed. 2 or more AcuSTREAM servers can be deployed in the same location for load-balancing and fail-over for increased availability.
