ASIC Alert We have become aware of ASIC customers receiving fraudulent emails purported to be from ASIC. The email's title is 'Request for ASIC correspondence reprint' and states that the customer has requested an invoice reprint. The email contains a link directing customers to download an invoice. The details on the invoice do not belong to ASIC and are designed to mislead customers into incorrectly making a payment. A sample of the email is attached to the foot of this email. Hovering over the 'retrieve a copy' link will confirm redirect to origin as shown below. If you or your customers receive a fraudulent email, please ignore it. You can also report it to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's ScamWatch at http://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam. We ask that you pass this message on to your customers.
