The Land Index cross-references information to allow you to build up a property description from a single piece of data such as an Owner Name, Address, Lot/Plan or Volume/Folio. With the property description from the Land Index, you can order titles, plans and property certificates. The type of Land Index search you do will usually depend on what information you have about a property. Important: The Land Index is only available for use subject to users signing a Deed of Grant in accordance with the requirements of Victoria's Information Privacy Act 2000.
